How we calculate the edem index
The index shows how far you can trust a travel agency’s rating. It considers the average score and how many people gave it.
01 · Collect
Ratings from three maps
We take an agency’s public ratings on Google Maps, Yandex Maps and 2GIS. Listings on different maps are matched by phone, address and office coordinates.
02 · Combine
Every rating weighs the same
A five on Yandex and a five on Google are two equal votes. The average score is calculated over all ratings together.
03 · Smooth
Few ratings, less trust
Every agency starts at a neutral 4.0, as if it already had 30 average ratings. Real customer ratings move the index up or down.

ratings differ
When the average rating on two maps differs by 1 or more (with 5+ ratings on each). This happens with fake ratings or when the maps list different branches. There are 25 such agencies now. We do not reduce the weight of their ratings, we only show the flag.
registry 2020
The agency was found in the tour operator register (2020) on uzbekistan.travel. The register has not been updated for a long time, so a missing flag does not mean there is no license.

The agency has current tours with prices from its Telegram channel.
What we do not do
We do not sell places in the rating.
We do not write or delete reviews; we only show ratings from the maps and links to them.
An agency cannot remove itself from the rating or hide its ratings.
We do not change the formula for individual agencies. If the formula changes, a new dated version will appear here.
